I hope the Yoda movie is one in the same with the Zack Snyder Seven Jedi movie that was rumored. Maybe see Yoda as a young bad arse way back in the old Republic rolling with some other galactic bad asses ridding the universe of what they believe to be the last of the Sith.

I'll just put this here:

quote:

When Disney officially announced they would be making Star Wars spin-off movies between the new, official episodes, some fans intensified the process of fantasizing about two characters: Han Solo and Boba Fett. According to Entertainment Weekly, films spotlighting those fan-favorites are in the works.

Hell, why don't they just make one and call it Star Wars Babies then? All your favorite characters (Yoda, Darth Maul, Boba Fett, Chewbacca, Han Solo...) AS BABIES!!!!!

Two more of the Star Wars spin-offs are coming into focus with “sources close to the production” leaking word of Boba Fett and “young Han Solo” movies to EW.

Man, I'll go ahead and say it...The Phantom Menace was a good movie. I liked it a lot when I first saw it. Sure some parts are stupid or cheesy or whatever, but it's fricking Star Wars. It's not as good as the originals but it never was gonna be (nor was it supposed to be). Most of the time, I feel like hating on it is teh cool fanboy thing to do.

Yeah I enjoyed it when I was a young teen too. Then I got dick hairs and realized it was crap. Would still smash Natalie Portman though.

Your post sounded really badass when I read it though.

The Clone Wars cartoons just spent a lot of time on him and his brother.

Probably because he'd smash Natalie Portman all up huh?

Oooh is she in trouble, she's gonna get it and she doesn't even know it and Toolmans gonna give it to her.

I actually don't mind it either, I might get burned for that, but it's a pretty good action movie, too much hate from the "cool" crowd in my opinion.

I really don't think it is the "cool crowd" that hates TPM and th emovies that followed. I will watch it but it is really total crap as far as film making and story telling. That You Tube video only laid out what I had already known for years but had never accepted.

And I also realize Armageddon is a pretty crappy movie but will watch it all the time. I just held Star Wars to a higher standard.

"will kill"? Where do you think the franchise is now? Let's all be honest. Whatever was sacred about Star Wars ended with the introduciton of Ewoks.

Yeah I own the movie. And have since it came out. There are parts that I do like a lot, but you can't deny that the kid was awful. There's also a bit of a Star Wars video game feel to some of it.

I know it's not the cool thing really, but sometimes I feel like it is.

For the longest time it was people bitching about JarJar Binx. Well, of course he was annoying and cartoonish (personality-wise)....he was created for kids. That much was obvious. So when I watched the movie, I didn't take him too seriously or let him bother me. But there's just some cool shite about TPM that can't be ignored. I really liked the whole "there's always a bigger fish" thing with them travelling through the depths of that planet. I really liked Liam Neeson. Obviously Darth Maul was awesome. Etc.

The kid who played Anakin was a bit annoying, but whatever. I did like the pod race (although it was too long and pretty unnecessary). My main gripe with it was that it introduced us to Vader as an 8 year old, and he never advanced in age. But that didn't turn me off and make me hate it.

And the acting was bad at times, but shite, so was the acting in the originals at times. It's Star Wars...it's cheesy space/sci-fi fun.

Take the greatest aspects of myths, storytelling folklore, and fantasy and set them in space.

Even then I don't think I'm doing it justice.

And by "it" I mean the original trilogy.
