Vader is Awesome

Considering how everything turned out, wouldn't it have been for the best?

I would have much rather seen this outcome than what we ended up getting.

Absolutely the rebels were the bad guys. Just look at return of the Jedi and Death Star v2

All those innocent contractors hired to do a job were killed- casualties of a war they had nothing to do with. All right, look-you're a roofer, and some juicy government contract comes your way; you got the wife and kids and the two-story in suburbia-this is a government contract, which means all sorts of benefits. All of a sudden these left-wing militants blast you with lasers and wipe out everyone within a three-mile radius. You didn't ask for that. You have no personal politics. You're just trying to scrape out a living.

No one wants to follow mass murderers like that. It’s why in the the force awakens the universe is in disarray and the rebels are still rebelling

I like to imagine if Maul had finished his fight with Obi Wan, took Anakin and started training him in secret.

Learns everything from the emperor, then kills him. With anakin skywalker ruling as his apprentice.

It ends at ep 6
All that other shite, that’s trash.
From episode 4 to 6 is the best hope to adversity to victory you’ll ever see in a series.
Luke ruling with the emperor would’ve done nothing for the trilogy.

Alderaan, and its 2 billion people, was just rebel propaganda. A myth. Alderaan never really existed to begin with.

Nevermind the fact that you're equating a military base and super weapon with the local courthouse.

What are you going to convince us of next? That the Death Star was actually flat?

This was something that was considered in the pre-Disney EU. Killing Palp and Vader just left a giant machine in place with no leaders for someone to get the keys and drive. Luke should have stepped in and at least pretended to run the Empire just to get an idea of what really needed to happen to kill all the tenticles of the Empire. Instead of drinking the green milk from the tap.

The Death Star can't melt planetary cores.
