First time watching it last night.

Unreal movie.

This was one of the last Ghibli movies I hadn’t seen and it’s probably my favorite.

Anyone else love this one?

Haven't seen it in a long time but I did love it as a child. Wouldn't mind trying to find it somewhere to see if it holds up.

Watched it April of last year when things were feeling their bleakest. Just an incredible movie, was completely struck by the animation, story, everything about it. And I’m one of those people whose only foray into anime consists of whatever came on Toonmai in the 90s (Dragon Ball, Gundam Wing, Tenchi Muyo, etc)

Cant wait to share it with my kid when he’s old enough to follow the plot

I enjoyed it, but my natural contrarian nature always wants to poo poo on it. I think I'm going to do a rewatch this week.

It’s also my favorite.

I really miss this style of animation.

Not sure how far you are into the Star Wars lore, but Darth Nihilus is based off of No-face. Spirited Away is probably Miyazaki's most iconic animated film ever.
