I'll go a step further. Like 90% of movies ever where people get absolutely completely shitfaced blackout drunk, then drink a glass of water and are up and about their day the next morning.
Yeah fricking right. Most movies with the amount that some of the people drink you might as well just have a "2 days later" then resume the action.

The bigger plothole is that Doug throws a bed from the roof. The hotel would figure out instantly what happened, and Doug wouldn't have been trapped up there for more than an hour.
