And flip the scenario with a man in the hot tub telling a woman she needs to undress… full on Harvey Weinstein plot there & Hollywood is blind to the optics?

We're sure that Mysterio is in fact dead? There's some who suggest he faked his own death as well, but even if that's not the case, his charade AS Mysterio would have been revealed. Of course, like with real world stuff, maybe half, or less, would believe the REAL story. Who knows. But all the people in Peter's life who were getting denied college entry, getting harassed for being connected with Peter Parker would not be free of all that after the 'fixed' spell.
But would Ned be still ostracized for *his claims of knowing Spider Man? As was established in the 1st movie? Best to not think too much about all that, I guess.
* Ned didn't make the claim. His tie in was that PETER knew Spiderman, and as a friend of Peter, he was two (actually one) degree away.

Delayed viewing but really liked this.
Probably the best comic book movie since Endgame and either my favorite or second favorite Spiderman (SM2.)
I was kinda thinking that the huge box office numbers were overstated but a worthwhile outing.
First 30 minutes was just a bunch of getting kicked in the nuts on repeat. You felt for him at the end of NWH but seeing play out sucked.

The wife and I went to see it tonight and really enjoyed it. For me, it had the feel of the classic Marvel Team-Up comics.
