Rewatch the earlier seasons. Shep was usually a jerk.

I grew up with a lot of dudes that acted just like Shep and every one of them were basically sociopaths. They've never not had the situations around them not go their way, and they have no empathy for anybody but at the same time are obsessed with appearing that they do. Shep spends every day trying to be popular and convince everybody he's a good guy, but several times in the show you see him slip up with the pretense and show his true conniving, manipulative side. When he screws somebody over he's always initially unapologetic, it's only when people start thinking negatively of him that he "apologizes". He's a POS with a smile

This is slightly off-topic but does anyone here see the striking resemblance Thomas Ravenel has to GA-Gov Brian Kemp?!
They look like they could be brothers but their mannerisms are identical. I tweeted about it a few months ago and good ole T-Rav blocked me!

I made it maybe four episodes then we quit. We watch trash like this to escape all the bullshite going on in life. I don’t watch southern charm to be slapped in the face with the fake racial outrage.
Plus there’s really no point watching without Chelsea and Cameran.
