This episode is heading downhill.

These episodes seem to just fall apart lately. Last week was the only episode I can remember that had a cognizant plot. It had a beginning, middle and end and the story was plot driven and character based.

Now we're back to just random shite happening. Some of its funny, some of its not at all, but it isn't a solid built plot.

They're becoming family guyesque. Random crap just happening for no reason in the middle of the episodes and random shock jokes.

God you're fricking terrible

This has been the least funny season in a long time (maybe ever, but I haven't seen the very early seasons in forever so it's tough to gauge), but it has still been funny. And it has been knocking the social messages out of the park.

Seriously, every time I go to my nearby Rite Aid, I hope that they don't start up with their donation shite. I go every 2 or 3 days, so making the first donation is no biggie, but doing it every time adds up big time.

Are you expecting a Coen Bros film in a 30 minute animated show on Comedy Central?

Parker and Stone delivered something close to this for over 15 years. They used to create episodes centered around a plot that poked fun at society but it was subtle perfect satire. The plot was driven by the characters and episodes explored how characters reacted to things and built and developed the world of South Park. I expect them to keep that up.

What they're doing now, random direct satire that is obvious and shoved down your throat, is just not good. Last weeks episode was funny. And it's the exception, not the rule. Overall, the last 2 seasons have been just awful.

I don't think there is enough material for them to make episodes like this. Like is all the "shaming" stuff annoying? yes. But is enough of an issue to warrant an episode?

The Steve Seagal stuff came out of nowhere

And what is with everyone loving the whole SJW attack approach? Like I'm in college and I don;t know a single PC bro lol. Like I liked this season up until this episode because I was waiting for some payoff but it just doesn't look like it will happen

And Matt and Trey HAVE to have something big planned for Cartman to end the season. Hopefully it turns out that he's been planning to act like a pussy for some grand scheme.

This may be them taking an entire season to say frick YOU to the SJW community.

They must see it as such a problem, such an offense to civilization(like I do) that they would commit their biggest month of work all year to give a huge middle finger to those people.

Cheers

Calm down, francis, it's a fun 30 minute cartoon satirizing a bunch of current events. Nothing more, nothing less.

Maybe it will be the original plan he came up with in the first episode and play out like the Scott Tenorman episode? That'd be cool, but this season has been a bummer

Instead of building a goofy episode where something happened that mirrored the issue they just ram the message down your throat for 30 minutes with no subtlety.

haha maybe that's it, but are any SJW's watching South Park It's not like there's been a controversial/newsworthy episode to put this season's theme on the national scale lol

Hopefully Cartman invites them all to a movie theatre and then shoots all of them dead.

After, he uses the events of this season to prove insanity and gets off Scott free while the media only talk about gun control. Anytime someone tries to punch Cartman for it, he steers all the attention to gun control and anything else but the issue.

Finally when the cops catch him, he has a vicious dog with him and he attacks the cop. The cop kills the dog and beats Cartman. After, the public and PC Principal skewer the cop's life to pieces and Cartman is praised as a hero.

That would be a perfect ending .

I'm sorry you don't have Butters or some Mexican kid to filter out everything but praise for the show.

Reality hurts dude

You just suck. It's every week. We get it. You don't like the show anymore.

Just go do something else.

You're just as bad as Cartman and Segal dude.

You can't have someone only give you positive feedback your whole life. And you can't kill reality.

People have differing opinions.

I'm not going to stay silent or change my opinions because they bother you.

Did you miss the point of the entire episode you just claimed to love?

I loved last week's episode. I said that a few times. And there were some good laughs this week. I said that as well.

I'm not going to apologize for pointing out what I saw as lacking and giving my opinion.

In the words of Reality: frick you.

HEy, they're a platform for discussion and free speech. It sounds melodramatic when talking about something like southpark but its true. Whether or not you agree with all their themes over the years they are almost the ONLY people on television that can say or do WHATEVER they want and luckily they often choose to use that to take on the shitheads of society.

They're important and I love it.

Reality is:

a) This show definitely isn't in its prime.
b) It's still pretty damn good.

There's no problem with honest and objective criticism. That's not what you're doing. You're just being a tool. Eat a dick.
