Great call. I can't hear that song without thinking of the movie.

Who can listen to "Ecstasy of Gold" without thinking of "The good, the bad, and the ugly"??

Also, Rock Around the Clock by Bill Haley and His Comets. In the movie by the same title Rock Around the Clock (1956)

Whenever I hear the song, I immediately picture the spining jukebox record on the intro to Happy Days. It certainly isn't what made the song famous...but in my mind, the two are inseparable.

Showdown by ELO never made it into the Top 40 in the U.S.

It was released in 1973 but wasn't included on any compilations until 1990.

Most people in the U.S. know it from Kingpin.

This movie didn't make the song popular, but I can't listen to For Whom The Bell Tolls by Metallica without thinking of Zombieland.

If anything I associate You Can't Always Get What You Want with House MDs first episode.

I know Baba O'Reilly wasn't played often at all at my house until the House episode.
