Because WB doesn’t want to pay for the copyrighted music. What a shame. Cheap bastards.
From Wiki-
Does anyone know how to get all the seasons to watch? I can’t imagine it’ll just be tucked away in the WB vault forever right?
From Wiki-
quote:
On April 24, 2007, Warner Home Video released the complete first season of The Drew Carey Show on DVD in Region 1. The WB has released a statement in which it said that the reason as to why the second season has yet to be released as of 2016 is because of music that is copyrighted. It is unknown if the remaining eight seasons will ever be released. For the same reason, it is unlikely ever to stream on online services.[14]

You can buy the complete set, seasons 1-9 on eBay but if you read the reviews it looks like someone recorded the episodes on their VCR and dubbed them to DVD to sell. Grainy video

I don’t want to buy it, but I’d watch if Netflix had it.

I read that is why you can't get "Frank's Place" on DVD. They used a lot of New Orleans music, and the licenses did not contemplate future uses such as DVDs and streaming.
Some shows will go back and replace the music for DVDs.

There's some shitball station on basic cable that airs it. Great show; it was ahead of its time. The live episodes are GOAT
