As a Jewish person, I laughed hysterically at the concentration camp bit.

Weekend Update was god-awful as always. Michael Che and Colin Jost have their heads so far up their own asses its almost impossible to watch. These two have murdered the Update Desk.

I feel that Jost and Che were much better before all the Trump stuff. Jost especially. They've become too serious with their commentary and they sound like idiots because of it. Also, one-sided as usual with political commentary. Che "lecturing" trump on how he should behave is case in point why he was elected. People are sick of idiots like him trying to tell others how to live their lives. And isn't it ironic that Jost makes a comment that "we shouldn't get rid of the diversity visa program based on the actions of 1 deranged individual." First, not true, and second, that exact argument can, and has been used on the show about getting rid of guns or certain types of guns. And Che complaining about how taxes shouldn't be simple? Has he lost his damn mind? Then they go on to make light of what Donna Brazille is saying? I feel like the world is on crazy pills.

I liked the chick on Update who had a nice rack and kept saying she would take her kids to her sistah’s.

My wife never watches but saw a bit as I watched a couple weeks ago. She saw Leslie Jones in a couple of skits and asked if that was a man or woman. She was being serious.

You can't use the J word or link them to negative stereotypes except the harmless stuff. The audience was stunned.

I'm guessing that some people are pissed off about making light of the Weinstein and rape/sexual harassment stuff that has been going around. His whole bit was really very dark. Several of his jokes pushed the envelope of appropriateness. The fish with high mercury content instead of a condom was a pretty big jaw dropper. But that's kind of the point, and it is his shtick that he pushes at being kind of an insensitive a-hole.

I saw it last night, and I'm so in my own bubble that I literally did not think for one second, "Man, this is going to cause a stir."

I thought the monologue was pretty awful, but LD was great in the skits.

We instantly laughed and my wife said, "He's going to get into so much trouble for this."

The dating in the death camps thing... Not something you'll usually see on broadcast TV.

I thought I was the only one who noticed. Ok, not the only one, but that's all I could focus on during her bit, which was pretty good.

Joke. N. a thing that someone says to cause amusement or laughter, especially a story with a funny punchline.

Nope.

They don't even have an audience anymore. Jost and Che just do their bits to an almost empty set of bleachers with the same 4 homeless dudes asleep on them every week.
