Ecclestone is the Doctor in the first season of the reboot. After him is Tennant (my favorite). Then is Smith (the current Doctor).

Star Trek nerds must get more arse than most toolbags then.

British comedy can be a pantie dropper when coupled with a knack for accents.

Nerdy chicks have needs too,

I've watched about 5 episodes in, to where we meet the dalek, in the one on Netflix.

I like it. And even if I don't, I'm gonna watch it for cultural immersion and ability to talk about the show with others.

Yes, a woman is involved in my reasoning.

If you liked the first 5 episodes of the reboot first season then you should like the rest of it a bunch. The reboot really picks up with episode 7-8ish during that season and takes off, starting with the "Empty Child" episode. And as others mentioned, the Tennant seasons are top notch.

Meh, outside of being hot Amy Pond pretty much was annoying as hell. Donna was actually one of the more well rounded companions.

I would agree Rose is the best though.

For me it is Rose>Donna>Martha>Amy

Too soon for me with the new girl, though I like her so far. The new episodes this season have been terrible however, which taints my view of her.

My friends told me to start on season 9 but they also said 10 is 100 times better and I'm having a lot of trouble getting through 9, is it necessary?

Not really. All you need to see of the Ninth Doctor is Dalek, Empty Child/Doctor Dances, Bad Wolf/Parting of the Ways. That brings you up to speed for the David Tennant years. Oh and maybe The Long Game -- Simon Pegg is in it

You can watch them all on 1channel(dot)cn

You can also get a thing called Expat Shield which will give you a temporary UK IP address so you can watch the ones that are airing live on BBC one streaming. They are a few episodes into the new season right now.
