Ok.. we already knew it had to do with the guy's son dying in the explosion.
we knew both guys were working for terrorists
what was explained? That the VP called for the attack? Not a big shocker.

wasn't very good. I kind of wanted him to flip the switch just to see the aftermath.
Danes played her character well, but she annoys the shite out of me that high strung crazy shite. i think it is because everyone else at the CIA is calm and calculated and she just runs around with a whiney look on her face acting crazy

I thought it was really good and I always expected them to lay more seeds for the next season instead of some big epic throwdown.
Love how they completely are dismantling Carrie's life even to the point of making her do the shock treatment. Great ending with her remembering the Issa moment too.
Now Brody, who is obviously well on the fence, has positioned himself for a more long term plan(aka more seasons), which we all know had to happen in some shape or form.
My main complaint is the goddamn Showtime trailer people. In the previews at the end of last weeks episode AND in the recap at the beginning of last nights, they gave away key scenes that showed us Brody wouldn't blow the bomb. Once he had gotten to the bomb shelter and we hadn't seen the Walker/Brody scene or the VP/Saul scene yet, it took a lot of the tension out of that part of the show. Trailers do this all the time and it sucks.
