People think she's hot because they're influenced by her being a model of some sort. She looks like a scarecrow.

Whitney is the best looking one to me, though not sure if her 5 minutes on the season counts as being on the show. She does lose some points for being into Connor though, but at least it's not JPJ.

Last night was arguably as pathetic as the demi debacle

"OMG the cars probably passed each other"

I mean, BIP is inherently fake and cheesy, but it's like they realized 2 weeks into the show there was no solid drama and had to concoct a bunch of 3rd and 4th choice storylines.

I wish the football player guy would leave that awful girl and go back to his ex GF. The new one is definitely a sociopath, I've known plenty of girls with all the same traits. That would be some good drama

I think all the girls on there are borderline sociopaths, save for maybe Katie and Sydney. They at least seem to be the most down to earth.

Same for the guys. I think you kinda have to be a sociopath to go on this show.

I fast forwarded through most of last night. Bri turning down Luke's rose was hilarious though.

Chris making sure everyone knew this had never happened before and then asking if any other woman wanted it was hilarious.

And Haley calling Luke a poor man’s Nick V

So in the spoilers I read, Luke was pretty much HATED by everyone there because all he talked about was some tequila business he started. Too bad they didn't show any of that.

So that’s why no one (guys and girls) even looked like they even wanted to tell him bye

Yeah, and why a few of them were fighting back laughter when she told him no.

She's gorgeous.

Aside from that, the two episodes this week felt REALLY produced and unnatural. Basically they were forcing storylines that lead to departures so they could get down to the final couples that were actually in a relationship.

That would explain his snippet in the opening of the show (where he's smelling a shot of tequila).

Dylan and Hannah will not last. She is clearly not into him.

Katie needs a nose job

No, Hannah seems like she's not feeling it. Dylan is way too intense. They'll probably be done before the end of the year.

I felt so bad for Katie. Chris B just isn't that into her, and the poor thing can't see it. Not saying he can't feel that way about someone else, but it's certainly not Katie.

More than a few of those couples seemed like they were coasting into the ATFR show so they can go public about the relationships crashing and burning.

Demi was my favorite part about this season, but her storyline SUCKED. ABC's virtue signaling was deafening as they tried to make the lesbian angle a thing. It felt 100% manufactured and merely exploitative. (And that's saying something, given it's The Bachelor).

I haven't really followed this much other than my fiancé watching it in the background. But the whole exchange between Caelyn and Blake was pathetic. My fiancé got me up to speed on what happened. Ole Caelyn didn't like being backed into a corner when both sides of story were presented. I thought Blake made a very good argument as to why he released the texts.

Good for Blake for doing that. In this day and age of "believe all women" he got his side of story out there and had he not everybody would have been against him. You gotta cover your own arse in today's climate.

I initially thought all of this when it was introduced - the episode where Kristian showed up. But I didn't feel like the episodes after that really focused on it that much. It kind of became a developing story just in the background, and other than the episode where Demi got a little jealous, they mostly ignored it.

I have not watched last night's episode yet though.

Which is exactly why Luke P called him out on The Bachelorette. frick that nerd.

Still pisses me off the way they totally trashed Luke P. Yeah, he was a complete douche and was terrible at articulating what he was trying to say, but the ganging up and piling on they did to that dude, including Chris Harrison himself, was outrageous and like nothing I’ve ever seen before on this show.

Then when that no talent lazy eyed twat Jed was outed for actually being the scumbag they tried to paint him as, they let him off incredibly easy.

Really one of the worst things I’ve seen on these reality shows.

The double standard of Kristian being a thing at all is what bothers me, more than anything. I adore Demi as an individual, and hope she gets brought back to co-bartend with Wells, for future BIP seasons.

My issue is that in any other season, when one of the contestants is found to have had someone they were dating on the regular, back home, they're rightfully branded as "not being there for the right reasons" and they're usually sent home. As well they should be.

The ONLY thing that's different about Demi's situation is that she's bisexual. That's totally fine for her, but my issue is that ABC pounced on this as an opportunity to show how woke they were, and they took what was a very personal development for Demi and virtue signaled the frick out of it, especially in the last episode and ATFR follow-up.

If Demi wanted to see where things with Kristian were going to go, she should've left Paradise and did her thing. It looked like that was where she was headed, but the producers at BIP wanted to be "edgy."

Oh for sure, I agree with all of that.

I think the fear after that episode that Kristian showed up was that that storyline would be the dominant one for the rest of the season, and that ABC would milk it for all the woke cred they could get, but that didn't really happen. That was my only point.

I do think it was exploitative and transparent and that they applied a double standard.

Anyone who believes that Demi and Kristian are an honest and genuine couple is just naïve and being pressured into the "wokeness" of it all. It couldn't have looked more forced. The post from earlier saying how scripted it looked even for this show's standards is spot on.

Mrs. Vox said she saw a social media post from one of the official Bachelor accounts where Kristian was on camera thanking all the fans/viewers for their warm welcome, all the love, being embraced as part of BachelorNation, etc, and the ratios on comments calling her out for being a puppet in ABC's virtue signaling, "Nobody asked for you, bitch", etc was through the roof.

Watched the reunion show last night. Mind-blowing how they all went after Blake for releasing those text messages that vindicated him. Wtf else was he supposed to do, sit aside and let people trash his character? Why not call Caelynn up there and question her behavior on the show?
