I really liked season 1, but never got around to watching season 2. I guess I need to pick it back up.

Me and the wife finished up last night. (Figured we'd binge it while the little one was at summer camp)
Well done. Great acting , story, writing, and production.
The only thing I think that was left unanswered was that really Jep at the end or just a figment of Gus's imagination? I can buy the argument that it was the latter.
Also, and my wife pointed this out, Singh got off way too easy in the manner that he died. frick that guy. But he was probably the 2nd most important person in the entire series after Gus.
When they went to the present and an old Gus & Wendy telling their story I would have liked to have seen if Becky(WOOD) were still alive. She was around 5 years older than Gus IIRC.
And James Brolin as the narrator and old Gus was *chef's kiss*

The end was rushed and ridiculous. Spend almost an entire episode on Gus and company's dofficult journey to find the cave, only made possible because they found a map.
They finally get there, narrowly cross the frozen lake and barely get past the melting purple flowers. All of a sudden all the bad guys show up!
They just knew where to go with no map even though people have been searching for decades. And they just happen to have means to cross the frozen lake, AND they all walked through the flowers before the team who just happened to have flamethrowers comes in after.
Now lets kill the mom for no reason even though jepps gonna get stabbed anyway. And now suddenly everyone who was just trying to kill each other has a change of heart and decides to stop listening to their boss becauase of a cave in?
Overall series i give it a 7/10. Happy enough ending i suppose but the whole premise is flawed. The dog kids already showed that hybrids can be bad just like humans. According to the good guys humanity had to pay for the bad ones mistakes so i guess it's only a matter of time before nature causes super hybrids?

I'm slowly getting through this season still.
It's not wowing me, to say the least. I like the cast. and the basic story, but damn... so many contrivances and plot armor. 'Because the story needs things to work out of our group..'.
Wasn't until the credits rolled after one ep that I saw Kelly Marie Tran (SW Sequels) and Cara Gee (The Expanse) were in it. I KNEW I had recognized Cara from somewhere, but damn, it was bugging me so much. Of course, she looks and sounds way different than Camina Drummer, but I still knew her from somewhere.

Wow. Just finished and that was really bad. I mean it was really poorly done in almost every way imaginable.
Nothing was explained, and the story just went from one absurd set of situation’s to the next.
I did like the cast, but their efforts were totally wasted on this mindless story.
Maybe if they toned down the violence and made it more G rated it would’ve been a decent kids show? Maybe. But I don’t know what the hell they were thinking with this one.
To paraphrase the late great Norm McDonald, this ends with “a bunch of commie gobbledygook“
