Here is the 8 minute short that the series is based on. For those who haven't watched the series, the animation is much better in the series, but this great little short gets the message out perfectly.

This is the trippiest show I’ve seen in a long time and the attention to detail and overall design is amazing. What an insane planet

Max sold it to Netflix and it just premiered on the platform. Unfortunately season 2 is not yet confirmed and it will be dependent on the performance of the Netflix premiere. I’ll be doing a rewatch to help boost those views

Annual bump because I just rewatched the series.
Criminally, there will be no season 2. Evidently HBO Max didn't like the viewership numbers and it didn't have a big enough impact on Netflix to make a difference.
The creators put together a sizzle reel of what they intended for Season 2, but it never went any further.

I’ve rewatched it several times, but obviously not enough. If Apple made Raised by Wolves and Scavengers Reign we would have several seasons of each by now. They are the only streamer that respects sci-fi. But good thing Netflix spent $300+ million on that Russo bros movie with Pratt and Eleven.
