I love the Wayans.

This is awesome. I'm sure many will assume there are too many, but they only did the first two movies.

I tried tonre watch 2 a couple years ago. These only work if you cover current pop culture and follow enough current pop culture to understand wtf theyre making fun of.

This is sort of true. Parts of them don't hold up today since they were making fun of pop culture shite when they came out. For example, the basketball dribbling scene in SM2. If you never saw or don't remember that Nike commercial then it wouldn't make much sense and seem really out of place. So if a kid watched it now, I'd assume they would not laugh and think it was pretty stupid.

Thankfully I do remember it and that scene is absolutely hilarious to me.

Well yeah, that is how these types of movies work.

Now, I'm not sure what they're going to cover this time around. I'm not sure how this type of movie works in 2024/2025.
