I’ve seen the movie before but got to see it today at a local theater and I am amazed at how well the movie holds up. The shark looks so real and the fighting scenes with it are phenomenal. It’s hard to imagine this movie was made 45 years ago. Even harder to imagine what it was like seeing it in theater in 1975

I saw it in theaters a few years ago with my dad on Father's day. Really cool experience. Lots of clapping and cheers, lots of other fathers and sons there together. I don't think anyone there just wandered in, we all knew wanted to see it on the big screen, again or for the first time.

I think it might be the most "perfect" movie ever made.

I saw it in theaters about 7 or 8 years ago and loved it. It was a different experience seeing it on the big screen. One of the best movies ever made, even if it’s not one of my favorites of all time.

It was the first movie I ever saw in a theater. My Paw Paw took me,my older brother and two cousins. I was ten years old. Still remember my grandfather falling asleep a few minutes into the movie and all us being scared shitless.

It was just before my 6th birthday. We did a family outing to the movies and when the dude's leg floated to the bottom, I ran out and threw up in a trashcan. Went back in and finished it.

The last like 45 minutes of that movie is as good as movies get in my opinion.

Superb

Jaws is probably one of the few perfect movies in existence.

Nothing is wasted.

Easily a top 5 all time regardless of genre.

It’s my favorite movie of all time by a pretty decent margin.

No movie in my lifetime had the social impact Jaws did. It absolutely affected how people acted at the beach. My brother and I were at Lake Worth beach and a manatee came swimming by (probably from the power plant in WPB) and the water emptied of swimmers just like in the panic scene. My brother and I were just looking around at everybody like they were nuts because it was just a sea cow.

The first half of the movie on Amity island is amazing Horror. The second half as soon as they get on the Orca it becomes one of the all time greatest movie.

My favorite movie hands down.

Just had the same experience with Empire Strikes Back. Love the old films on the big screen.

I realize they just killed Jaws but at the end when Hooper and Brody are swimming back to shore why aren't they freaked out? I'd still be scared shitless it's not like that was the only shark in the ocean.
