Which is good thing he doesn't post over there that much. Dan is probably a good guy IRL but answer the question. Is his schtick an act or is he really that stupid?
And fwiw, I don't have a beef with you but you come to his defense morenthan I've ever seem than anyone else around here. More than any board couple.

We do things a touch different over here. We actually debate issues instead of attacking posters. (most times)
Really Maximus, I posted 50 times. Sure doesn't say much for the Math Department at LSU.
Also, it is my post so it is pretty normal for the person that starts the post to respond.

Not sure what happened to you pal, you used to be fairly easy going but lately you haven't been.
Oh and once again back to me taking things to seriously, some of you have stated you could no longer come to the movie board because of Dan's posts.
Clean the sand out of it! If someones boring posts keep you from coming to a board then it is CLEARLY you that takes things too seriously.
As far as Dan is concerned, Archie hit the nail on the head. I am more concerned with censorship than Dan. Just check my posts. I have almost never posted in his nonsense.
For the most part, I stay away from the vs and lists threads unless female pics are involved.
And attack the South Park pic, but anyone that isn't being an irrational dick could see I was trying to be somewhat funny. Admittedly that failed miserably.

I'm gonna agree with TigerMyth that I don't think Dan's threads were ban worthy. Look a lot of Dan's threads were certainly inane. The thing is most of you complaining about Dan's threads, well I don't see yall starting any threads at all.
People say they want quality threads here but how many times have I seen one of Kafka's TCM Alert threads fall off of page one without even a reply. I don't know maybe people here just don't care about classic movies?
Freauxzen goes through all his hard work on the Sci-Fi list last week it's been up for several days now and still it's really only a handful of us posting on it and discussing the list. Yet I'll see some thread about a crappy reality tv show end up 20 pages long.
Myself I used to write movie review threads not just "hey I've seen this movie discuss" I'd write four or so paragraphs,screen shots and even links but I'd get very little to no replies. I don't know maybe people here just don't care for under the radar movies that they've never seen or heard of?

Dan's posts on this board were GCS-level terrible. His banning was well warranted and should have come a lot sooner.
