Grave of the Fireflies...
I own the damn thing and it was a big waste of money because I can't bring myself to watch it again.
The scene where his sister is making him sushi from rocks just rips me apart.

No arguing that he earned that best supporting actor Oscar for his performance in Glory. The more touching scenes for me in that movie are Denzel's monologue during the pre-combat prayer scene around the fire, and his falling with the flag during the assault on Fort Wagner.

The end of "The Fox and the Hound". This movie is way too heavy for anyone to handle, especially kids.

Forrest Gump: when Forrest is visiting Jenny's grave at the end of the movie

Knowing he won't be alive to see his son grow up, he makes a video for his son - teaching him father/son stuff, like how to shake hands like a man, etc. Sad, sad movie

When Cedric Diggory comes back through the port key and everyone realizes he is dead, and his dad grabs him and starts screaming "my boy, my boy." As a father myself, that part gets to me.

One of the hottest porn stars in history, though
He means the the girl from the movie Savannah Smiles (which is where the porn star Savannah got her name).

I remember a thread on here about powerful scenes, and someone mentioned that movie. (other scenes from this thread were also mentioned in that one)
I don't know if it's been mentioned or not, but I think there's a scene in We Were Soldiers, when the military guy shows up to the house with the wives, and they know one of their husbands is dead. That's a pretty sad scene.

Seriously, a Futurama episode made it into this thread before this. For shame.

You're not alone. Something about that movie just got me like no other movie has.

Not a movie but the ending of the Futurama episode "Jurassic Bark" is the most sad cartoon ending I've ever seen, more sad than Bambi even. Anyone's who's ever seen it knows what I'm talking about.
Now WHY did you have to go and remind me about that one!!!!!!!
Man, that ending came out of the blue and hit me like a ton of bricks.
