People around these parts get all in their feelsies when it comes to Alec Baldwin and his politics. Personally, I don’t give a shite about all that. I'm still a fan and I think he always does a good job. That movie looks good, I'll watch it.

It was a tragic accident. Had it been James Woods, this board would contort itself into all sorts of fricked up gyrations to forgive and make excuses for him.

bullshite.

He was the producer of the movie. Responsible for everything that went on with that set.

He hired an armorer who had no clue what she was doing.

There were negligent discharges of weapons on set previously.

Camera crew walked off because of unsafe working conditions.

He only escaped criminal prosecution due to a procedural frick-up by prosecution.

He was responsible for her death.

He killed her.

I hate to say it, but the imagery from the trailer is better than I expected.

Nobody was waiting around for an Alec Baldwin Western.
Unfortunate that they had to recast the Jensen Ackles role.

I’d actually watch the hell out of that if the POS wasn’t the star

I'm assuming this movie isn't a murder mystery since we already know who the murderer is.

They killed Vic Morrow filming The Twilight Zone but I think it still did pretty well.

The image of a motionless windmill but with the audible sound of it slowly squeaking just screams 'Manhattan', not the old West.

I chuckled at this as well. Was wondering if anyone else noticed.

Agree. Love Westerns. Alec Baldwin does not seem like the rugged westerner to me.

It’s also a SAG rule that:

ONLY a qualified person shall perform hand loading or altering factory loaded blank ammunition to work on firearms (either licensed or experienced).

That’s the person they need to investigate.

Of course. I believe this person has already had their day in court and lost.

if my aunt had balls she would be my uncle. You liberal freaks are all the same.

Just watched the Hulu documentary Last Take : Rust and the story of Halyna.

Alec Baldwin saying he feels no guilt whatsoever was mind blowing. What kind of sick human being can say that after what happened. Figured that DEI armorer hire had ninja turtle colored hair. It always ends the same with stories like this. When she went to court she dyed her hair a normal color and was dressed like a librarian instead of gen z reddit freak like she was dressed like on set.

They showed Dean Winchester on the documentary like he was in the movie. I don't see him in the trailer. I recognized the actor from Cougar Town that was married to Courtney Cox.

Looks like the mom of Halyna wanted the film to go on so the world could see her daughters work and that's what she would have wanted.

I still don't understand how they never found out who brought the actual bullets on set. So many people to blame but that ninja turtle hair DEI hire seemed to be the one that brought them and could have prevented all of this.
That's why she received 18 months in jail.

These type of movies look and seem miserable to film. They shoot 12 to 14 hour days 7 days a week. Bitch 24/7 that they don't have enough money for anything. Losing crew members so many people are doing 2 or more jobs at a time. Everything needed to be done yesterday and for half the price.

Outside of like 4 people on set who actually make good enough money where putting up with all that bullshite is worth it but the other 98% of the people there working must be fricking miserable.

I remember him originally being in the cast, don't know if he finished it or bowed out after the disaster.
I suspect he was trying to get in a movie with a known actor (Baldwin in this case) and further his career, and when shite happened he said nope, this ain't it.

The armorer needs to be in control of any/all firearms on set, and no live rounds are to be present. I don't think there was any way she could skate on those issues.

See my comment on Jensen Ackles (Dean Winchester) above ...

You're trying to get your foot in the door, hard to get a decent job. You do a bunch of low budget flicks just trying to get somewhere.
You get another low budget flick, but this one has a legit movie star in it (Baldwin)... it will get noticed more than the other films you worked on. And Baldwin knows people too, he might say "yeah, Sam did a good job on my movie. Give him a shot".
Gotta figure that's what most of these people are doing.

the documentary said Baldwin would be there a month for the whole movie so I'm sure the other actors with smaller parts are only there for a couple weeks. Probably make a plant baw salary for 2 weeks of work in the beautiful desert.

They said there were 6 to 7 live bullets on set when investigated. This is insane.

crazy it takes 2.5 years to film 7 episodes of tv shows now.
