As far as the OP, good. I don’t want to read a bunch of troll reviews. I want to see what people who have actually seen the movie have to say.
The OP was a lie. The real story wasn't about fake reviews, it was the "want to see" poll that had Captain Marvel at only 27%. Obviously Disney pressured Rotten Tomatoes to take it down and is now, once again, putting out stories about trolls.

I never said they weren’t involved at all, I said they weren’t that involved until the 80s outside of some stuff in the 60s, which was correct.

You don't think the same people who posted fake reviews for a movie they hadn't seen were affecting those numbers as well? Seems they took those numbers down because they knew they were bullshite.

They learned this move from fat Amy Schumer.

I was thinking more from TLJ. This time they're preempting it.
Still waiting for anyone to post any evidence of the "fake reviews."

It’s not bulletproof
This isn't a Han Solo prequel following a badly received sequel in a franchise that is notorious for shitty prequels.
This is a Marvel Studios film bridging between the two most anticipated Marvel Studios films following another Marvel Studios film winning three Oscars.
They could name this film Captain Marvel: We Hate Trump and it would be a success.

Let's sit on that for a while and wait for the SJW's who never read comic books to figure out that the Captain Marvel who was actually in the Avengers was black.

Carol Danvers was created first and interacted with the original Captain Marvel. Carol Danvers makes sense to this universe with the story they're telling.

That's because the movie wasn't made for you. It was made for my beautiful POC queens

There is no chance whatsoever that this movie flops by any reasonable objective metric Every female between 5-15 in this country is going to see this movie. Advanced ticket sales have already surpassed those of Wonder Woman. Every sign points to an opening domestic weekend of $150-200 million. The only real question is will it threaten Black Panther’s $240 million opening weekend.
I'm Sorry, it won't come close to topping Panther. Not only did it have high anticipation from Black people, but BP has always been a niche popular character with comic nerds, similar to Deadpool (although Deadpool was more known) so their anticipation added to it's gross.

I have some bad news for you, but Brie Larson isn't reading this thread and she isn't going to take your virginity no matter how valiantly you fight in the valley of the tiger droppings.

But Monica was the first "Captain Marvel". Carol was Ms. Marvel. They could've changed the Kree connection to being Monica, hell the MCU is basically it's own universe separate from the 616 comics universe. Tony didn't create Ultron, Ant Man did is one other difference.
