Not sure if it meets the definition of relatively obscure, but Hollywood Knights

Great coming of age, low brow comedy. Similar to American Graffiti but better imo. A great soundtrack, nails the era, and the early careers of an absolute stellar cast. Robert Wuhl, Michelle Pfeiffer, Tony Danza, Fran Drescher, and Gary Graham.

The scene where they give Jimmy Shine (Graham) the car and put in the California Dreamin 8-track hits me hard.

One of my favorite movies growing up. The cars, the music, and of course fart jokes and tits made this an all-timer

I’m with you on the car rollout and the 8 track of California Dreamin being super memorable for me as well. It’s one of the songs I downloaded when Napster came about.

Another of my favorites as a kid. Pretty sure it was the tits and crazy stunts. It was playing on Skinemax a couple months ago for a bit. Watched it to reminisce. Forgot how weird it was.

"The Entity" (Martin Scorsese said this was the scariest movie he had seen)

"Brick" (Think it was mentioned already, but just in case)

"Altered States" (William Hurt was great in this)

"The Limits of Control" (very noirish, and not everyone's cup of tea, but missed by many in the U.S. market; I believe it was Spanish)

And in honor of Sho Nuff's avatar, "The Last Dragon"

I really enjoyed this bizarre, funny, and surprisingly touching film.

Bruce Campbell is always awesome.
