The first time I watched The Happening I thought it was quite possibly the worst movie I've seen in my life.
Since then, I've watched it like 5 times(and even purchased it). Why do I keep watching such an awful movie? I still know it's bad, but I've grown to enjoy it.
Anyone like this with any movies?

So you're the one.
To answer you question: If I think a movie sucks, I don't usually watch it again. There are plenty of movies that I enjoy even though most people think they suck, but I don't typically enjoy watching movies that I personally think suck.

I only rewatched it because I thought the concept was interesting and could have created a good movie. That and the fact that my dad had control of the TV(was back home for the weekend).

Because The Happening is an incredibly entertaining B movie. Wahlberg's acting in this is especially hilarious. Any time I see him in a movie now I have to pause and get my laughing out of the way.

Battlefield Earth is one I can't understand. The constant dutch angles coupled with nonsensical plot actually make that one hard to watch, to me. Even with Travolta's instant classic performance.

Good call. Watching that movie as a kid I thought it was sweet. Watching it a couple years back I couldn't help but think
"This was a lot better in my head"
I still watched it though.
