After E2 I may have to amend my opinion of Neagley's writers. She's generally obnoxious and unlikable. The amount of shite a Chicago detective would take from some PI who's never been a cop is......a teensy bit less than what they portray.

I have one episode left to go. Like you said, Neagley is unlikeable, but the show and plot itself is pretty good. I’m liking Keno and the pretty secretary lady.

For me that's a maybe. I haven't lost interest yet but it's sliding.
So far Neagley, a former MP (E7 in the books but they promoted her to E8) has crazy investigative skills that put her in a different league than the Chicago PD, she's a trained arsonist of some sort, a master of hand/hand combat, and they insinuate she's also a super-sniper.
I get that it's fiction and nobody wants to watch anything about the life of the average PI, but a little realism would help. If you don't know much about the military (I don't mean that as a negative) a lot of it probably doesn't catch your attention like her generally being a bitch does.

It's better than Season 4 of Reacher, which was stupidly awful.
I never had a prob with Neagley. She & Reacher worked well together (in the small doses we got).
