Was Mother that bad? I feel like every review I read either praised the movie, or said it was the dumbest shite they'd ever seen.

I thought it went off the rails a bit in the last 3rd, but I enjoyed the concept. Most will tell you that they either hated it or loved it with no in between. It was definitely that type of movie.
