No shite- I was just thinking yesterday after seeing some kind of Reel on Harry Potter “Why didn’t Harry just drink the liquid luck and start making more batches of it?” and was about to ask it in this thread.

Yeah, I think Rowling tried to address the “why don’t people make this potion all the time?” by saying something like it’s incredibly difficult to make and dangerous if not done correctly. That doesn’t address the fact is you only need to nail it one time.

I love HP but she painted herself into a corner with stuff like that several times.
Time Turners, “cursed words” the ability to trace the location of spells, Liquid Luck, all of these used correctly just ruin the whole story.

Yeah I always thought it was dumb how in the first movie a teacher was able to just sit there and put a hex on Harry mid match and nobody did a thing about it
