Cat died but came back in a few days. If I remember, didn't Quentyn die in someone else's chapter, much like Ned?

I think....Quentyn's chapter (The Dragontamer) ends with him on fire. It is announced in The Queens Hand chapter that it took him 3 days to die...so, no, he didn't die in his chapter.

B. Oh he's dead, but he's coming back to be the hero.
His soul is inside of Ghost and will remain in there until he's revived by Melisendre or some weird Children of the Forest/Old Gods magic to save the day.
This is where I'm leaning after we had the Sixskins prologue in ADwD. He'll be hanging out in Ghost, slowly losing himself to the beast, until he's either pulled out or finds someone to warg into.

Bran teaches him to warg into Hodor. Hodor becomes the prince that was promised and inherits the kingdom and marries Dany and rides Drogon. Fin

He's dead temporarily, but he will be revived by the others and become the Great Other, leading the White Walkers against the armies of man, killing everyone in his path, like a boss.
My favorite by far.

Below is purely personal speculation
Two possibilities. Yes and he'll be revived by Melisandre like Thoros did Beric Dondarion. No, and he's warged into Ghost
Considering the widely held belief that R + L = J, I agree with this. But he will also ally with, and eventually marry Dany.

I read someone where that Snow will come back as the hero that was foretold to return to Westeros.

I personally think he ends up with Val myself. Uniting not just the North but the Wildlings.

Agreed.
Also, I don't see Martin taking the obvious route with Dany and Jon marrying. Neither are the other's type, and I think that they may start out as enemies of each other. If anything, their relationship at best will be that they're aunt and nephew and have a familial/close bond from that, but I don't see it turning romantic at all.

Yes, clearly he was murdered by his own brothers. Anything beyond that is conjecture. My conjectures:
1. They don't burn Jon's body and he is resurrected as a wight but is like Coldhands and is able to lead the Night Watch and the Others.
2. He is resurrected by Mellisandre and becomes the most badass Lord Commander in history.

I could see them throwing Jon's body into the ice cells--cold preserves, as Aemon said. Jon's soul will be in Ghost but will either be resurrected by Mel, Val, or Bran and Bloodraven. I see him coming back no later than 1/3 of the way through TWoW.
How many chapters does everyone think Jon will have in TWoW? He's had anywhere from 8-13 chapters in each book (except for Feast, where he was absent). FWIW I don't see him going below 8 chapters. I also hope that both Sansa and Arya are back to the pre-AFFC/ADWD chapter count. Arya only had about 5 chapters from Feast and Dance total, and Sansa only had 3 in Feast and 0 in Dance. I'm hoping that they each have 8-10 chapters in TWoW. Plus, you have to remember that a lotttt of POV characters will be dropping dead like flies in TWoW, so it's likely that Sansa and Arya's chapter counts will both increase.
I wish Martin would release the order/chapter titles before the book comes out so I would be able to tell if my chapter predictions were accurate.
