It is awful. A total mess.

It’s Netflix so approximately 10 mins of it is SJW bullshite.

The Nola depiction was well done. Levit very legit as Nola cop. Fox of course solid performance.
It was a good enough watch overall but I’m not a harsh critic.

Same or me. Fun movie imo nothing great but it kept me interested from beginning to end

I liked it. Wasn't the best action sci-fi movie ever made, but it was fun enough.

I didn’t regret watching it. Entertaining enough and a solid Netflix movie. If you’re a movie critic you could find enough to not like it, but if you’re just looking for a popcorn movie this will satisfy you.

I’m going to watch it tonight.

Just started this and I can already say...
This should have been a Netflix original series. Not a film.
Needs a lot more story. Another great concept with very meh execution.

This reminded me of that will Smith fairy movie. Interesting concept just a very straight to Netflix overall quality to it.

This movie gets a solid “meh” grade

I liked it. It did what it said on the box, and entertained me. I liked all the saints references, the Gleason jersey, the Zion Williamson wallpaper on the cell phone. But I caught one mistake. The whole movie Levitt’s character is touting how he loves being from New Orleans. Then when they got towards the end and got on the ship, they were talking about the buttons that locked down all the doors. And he said “just like county“. I was like, come on director. You’re doing all this Louisiana stuff you should know that we have parishes and not counties!

Yea I noticed that, too. It seems like they jumped through so many hoops to properly shoehorn New Orleans into the movie, which is why it’s so surprising.

This is how I would describe TD m/TV to any friends:
"Well, it's Tigerdroppings, so approximately 1.5 posts per page of any given topic is someone complaining about made up SJW bull shite."

“Made up”?
At the beginning of the movie, the teacher is berating Robin in class, she busts into a rap song bemoaning a racist discriminatory education system, we then see this was a dream sequence and didn’t really happen. There are no other dream sequences in the film nor any issues really involving racism.
Later, when about to take action against the mercenaries, Art gives Robin a motivational speech... about confronting a racist discriminatory system, even though what is going on has nothing to do with racism.
That’s just the two instances that stood out. I was not on SJW alert when watching but it is pretty hard not to notice such awkwardly-injected race-pandering scenes.
