Prison Break the television show

The other night I felt like wasting a few minutes of my time. I recently bought Amazon Prime, which includes a bunch of free streaming movies and TV shows. They recommended Prison Break to me, and since I none of the other recommendations appealed to me, I thought why not. I must admit I kind of enjoyed it. I only watched the pilot episode, but in that 40 minutes or so there is a great story unfolding with some fairly interesting characters. The love of brothers, conspiracy theory, teenage angst and anger, and culture of prison are all themes that look to have a lot of potential. I'm not sure if I'll keep watching, but I am glad I saw the first one.

best show ever! lol i loved it and have all the dvds and watched the series probably 3 or 4 times. i can't stop after watching 1 episode.

Very good season 1 and 2 but it dropped off after that.
Perfect example of a show that should have started out with a pre-determined number of seasons.

I've been meaning to watch this show for a year now or so. I may start watching it soon.
were they able to finish the plot line in 4 seasons or did they leave it open like some canceled shows do?

Pretty much what everyone else said. Season 1 and 2 is good stuff..then goes downhill.
Im glad I watched on Netflix instead of when it came out..the weekly cliffhangers would of been a bitch.

First season is one of the best seasons of any show I've ever seen, simply brilliant. After that it goes all batshit crazy.

This seems like one of those shows that should have only been one season. Let them escape and let it be done. Have your run and end it. Instead it got wildly popular and they got signed on for more seasons. After that it just started getting way too wacky and farfetched for me.

I remember reading something that it was only meant to be 2 seasons but it was so popular fox made them do more.

This is disappointing, I just started season 3 this morning, almost watched all of season 2 in the past 2 days

i enjoyed all season because i watched it for what it was... a tv show shite has to happen to keep it going, it might not be totally believable, but its not like they all all of a sudden got super powers... still my favorite series and i watch it over and over again

Checkout Breakout Kings. One of the creators from Prison Break created it. One of the episodes is an extension of a Prison Break character.
On top of that, Breakout Kings is currently filming season 2 right here in BR.
