Each episode has been pretty good but i'm surprised that the story of her with the casino guys has not been progressed at all.

The really long set up for the Metal band one was my favorite part. Just great writing. Plus, alajones2 and I have now started watching Benson.

They really went all-out on this episode with the guest stars and the production.
Having recently watched Mad God and the ILM documentary Light & Magic, by the time it got to the end of this episode (especially with the trippy sequence at the end), I was thinking this has got to be Phil Tippett's work! So I waited for the end credits, and yup, it was Phil Tippett.
So I did further research. It turns out Natasha Lyonne directed this episode and was a co-writer. Here's some reading material if you have already watched the episode:

Episode 9 is excellent probably my favorite so far. Joseph Gordon Levitt guest stars.
