Probably the fricking obvious answer of he misses his lady friend from a former life. You ever think about an ex or someone from your past that made you feel good? Royals fan, ice station zebra, etc can EASILY be chalked up
So you think Vince and the gang are using all these hints ISZA, Royals cooler etc just to show us he misses Kim?
When you look at the BB history of Easter eggs and clues you will see that they usually foreshadow something.
Why is Kim's desk in Saul's office? According to you because he misses her. This seems like a lot of coincidences and wasted effort just to make the point that he misses Kim when the viewer would know that anyway.

So, your evidence is that a desk in the office of a secondary supporting character in B.B. from 10 years ago is an Easter Egg foreshadowing a prequel that Gilligan had no idea he was going to make and belonged in the future past to a character that hadn’t even been conceptualized?

No, Vince took Saul's desk from BB and made it so that it was originally Kim's. I wouldn't read much into this by itself, but when he keeps doing little things like this he is trying to tell you something.
ISZA is the big one. It connects her to the BB era more than anything else.

Kim will 100% die
She’s the last moral compass jimmy has left

You have not been paying attention. She has enabled, assisted, and rewarded his bad behavior.
She is 100% not dying. If they were going to kill her it would have happened in her wreck. Killing her is now off the table.

You haven’t either... it’s always the people the protagonist cares about that pay the price for their misdeeds. It’s essentially the central theme of the entire universe.
I will ban bet you that Kim isn’t Saul’s “silent partner” at the end of the BCS. Book?

Wrong, I have been paying very close attention.

Exactly, if she gets away before Saul goes criminal there is no price for her to pay.
There is a strong possibility she gets involved and is in danger of going down with the ship as well.

I'm not sure she makes it all the way to the end of BCS with Saul. I am almost certain she is with him at the beginning of the Saul Goodman firm and at least the early stages of Walter White. I could see her trying to cut and run when she makes the realization that continuing with WW is dangerous.

You are shifting the goal posts greatly now on your "theory".

No, I'm not. I have always said she will be part of Saul's firm. I have never maintined that she goes all the way to the end and they live happily ever after.
Every one believes Kim leaving will be the catalyst for Jimmy to turn to Saul. I say this is wrong and she will be by his side and helping Saul. Once the Walter White shite starts to hit the fan all bets are off.

Total crawfish. You know your theory is falling apart and you’re hedging

bullshite. Your theory is that Kim is behind the scenes during the BB days, running the firm with Saul and a part of everything he does during that time.
Now you're saying she may have been there to start the firm and then things fell apart and may have left at or around the time WW shows up.
Total goal posts shift.
Of course she could have been there when Saul Goodman starts his firm. Jimmy becomes Saul and starts his firm before the events of BB.

Correct, but towards the end when everything starts to blow I don't know what will happen.
That is not hedging my bet.

Go back and read. I didn't say when he shows up. I said when Walt starts to blow shite up.

Nope. Never felt better.
Do you remember the scene when Chuck sat down with Kim and told her how Jimmy burns everything and everyone to the ground eventually?
At the time this scene was meant to make Chuck look like an arse. Once this series is over he is going to look like a prophet. Kim is going to be burnt because she sticks with Jimmy far too long.

You're full of shite. Your whole premise was she was pulling the strings and working behind the scenes on BB...you've started that multiple times. Time to call it a day.
Posted on 7/20/18 at 1:51 pm to lsuguy84
for clarification here is the exact "theory":
quote:
Here we will discuss the theory that Kim Wexler is helping Jimmy/Saul behind the scenes before and during Breaking Bad as a silent partner.
quote:
Kim is half of Saul. Saul Goodman is a brand and a law practice. Saying Kim is half of Saul simply means she is a silent partner in this business.

And that is still the case. I just can't predict what she will do in the final days when Walt unravels.
Make no mistake about it. We are going to see scenes with Kim and Jimmy discuing Walter White, and she will be helping Saul even if she is reluctant about WW.
