I know that. What stumps me is they are at the precipice of the greatest triumph in their young lives, and they don't have it ready to go. They should have been ready to sling rocks and win in a runaway.

Did anyone else get really pissed when Pat chucks the trophy in the lake?
The MVPs jump in the river and claim the trophy, so they can just pretend like they won, right? They can just tell next year's crop of MVPs that they are still undefeated, with the trophy to prove.

true. Idk I kind of figured perhaps it would be recorded that the fat kids one even if they didn't have the trophy.
