I liked it. Not great, but was entertaining

Was fun when it stuck to the treasure hunt. Was pretty bad when it tried to do anything else. Solid C+/B- type show imo

It was probably trash but it was very entertaining. I thoroughly enjoyed it. Like I’ve seen it described somewhere else, it is like the Goonies meets the OC.

I kinda thought the same, loosely

Very skeptical at first that I could handle the mess between
high school kids from the good side of town versus the kids from across the tracks. But I'm at episode 6 and I've started to like it.
Spoiler I Think:
The protagonist wakes up from his trauma and finds his new best girls dad suddenly likes him again. I suspect there is more to it than altruism and it is not for the benefit of the protagonist. But I guess I have to keep watching to find out.

The last 3 episodes drug like a mother fricker. How long can you run from the cops on an island. Rafe was prob the most retarded character in the history of television.

Throughly enjoyed it. Can't wait for season 2.
It did have lots of "teen drama", but it was pretty well done. Like said above, I wish they would have stuck with the treasure hunt more.

Was good for a few episodes. Lost interest as it went on but finished the season anyway. By the end I was laughing at how silly it had become.
SPOILER
Favorite part was the power coming back on to the whole island just as another tropical storm was making landfall. Which just happened to be when they were floating the pass trying to escape in the worlds fastest 30 year old Bayliner. Can’t forget the heart to heart on the radio from crazy murderer dad. Drive said water rocket, to the eye of the storm, capsize, and be rescued by a container ship who doesn’t even radio the info. Sure kids (16-17) let’s go to the Caribbean. Get that soup and coffee ready!

Even more unreasonable is that they survived their boat

I'm watching it now, good so far.

Born and raised in South Carolina (filmed in Charleston area) and have lived in North Carolina for 10 years. Watching it now. Can’t stand the fact that haven’t I heard a single southern accent. Might as well be watching a Great Lakes based show. Not really capturing the culture. Now flip it on a Danny McBride produced show and you got it.
