Can someone tell me, is trans Kobe half featured in every episode?
I'm not interested in continuing to watch a half Straw Hat Pirates half trans-Kobe show.
I appreciate the actress's efforts in the beginning, but I'm not interested in a half/half series.

She's clearly not a guy. I had to look it up when they started calling her a "he" because I couldn't believe that was a dude. Was wondering if the character was just supposed to be extremely effeminate.
ETA: Other than her, the first two episodes were pretty great. Never watched the anime because the Luffy character always seemed ridiculous in commercials, but it's actually a pretty infectious character and his "crew members" are serious enough to counterbalance his ridiculousness.

Still watching. Liking it more than I thought I would.
The lead character Luffy? Doing a really good job. I'm a bit sketchy on the world building, but i guess that's just how the story goes. No idea what to expect, but it seems to be getting good reviews.

Like I said, its getting good publicity. Just set a record for the #1 viewed show on Netflix in 84 countries. That beats Stranger Things (S4) & Wednesday.

Owwww…well that’s good. I don’t think my friend would have any issues jerking or to a hot non binary chic.
Thanks for the info. I really could care less about anyones sexual preferences. Who you choose to screw is your business. But I do have issue with treating people with mental issues like they are normal. Trans people should be getting mental health help and treatment.

I never watched the anime but am enjoying the live action. Good to know they changed the plot some. That’s something about the cowboy bebop adaptation I didn’t like. If you aren’t going to change anything or tell a new story, what’s the point? You aren’t going to do it better than the original.

One more episode to go, and I am glad I am taking my time with this season. As goofy as the world is, they really do make it feel authentic and not overly cartoonish. What an amazing balance.
