Singin in the Rain is a favorite ... My kids are older now but saw it when they were your kids age. Mom and dad like it too. Song of the South was mentioned too... Was one of my dads favorites... Go with Singin in the Rain.

Funny, just watched this with my teen son, he loved it! I forgot that is based off of Frank Dux (true story) and Johnny Cage from Mortal Kombat is based of Van Damme, hence the JC. First time seeing it in HD as well, the 80's music was killing me though...
All I remember as a kid were the facial expressions.

ET might freak out the 4 & 2 year old. ET messed with my 7 year old a couple nights.

As for Goonies, it does have some language.
