I actually enjoyed this cut much better than the original. The last scene where they chop Steppenwolf’s head off and stare down Darkseid through the portal was badass. Damn shame we probably won’t ever get Cavill’s Superman vs Darkseid.

So was that last dream sequence the actual direction Snyder wanted to go with? Idk how that crew could stand a chance against evil Superman, Cyborg sounded scared as shite when they got found.

Them dropping Mera’s attempt at an English accent and having to form an airball to talk underwater everytime were good decisions for the Aquaman movie.

I’m not much of a comic reader so riddle me this, would Darkseid wipe the floor with Thanos in a 1 v 1 battle? He’s got Omega Beams while it seems Thanos just has strength without the stones.

I finally finished watching. All I can say is wow. 10/10 much better than the original. I saw the original one in theaters, and after watching it just left a sour taste in my mouth. Never watched again, nor did I have any desire to.

I feel like this version is a top-tier comic book movie imo. I would absolutely rewatch. I am genuinely excited for the sequel that I know will never come.

I loved Avengers and Age of Ultron, so Joss Whedon did great work in those. But somehow he royally fricked up the justice league.

Finally got to watching it over 2 days

I didn’t see the original but I thought it was decent. I enjoyed it more then Avengers 1 or Age of Ultron.

I wished we could’ve seen this version’s Batman’s world in another movie or two. Though I’m not a huge fan of Leto’s joker. Dude’s laugh sounds like an old man.
