They are going to end this season with a lead up to the confrontation with Negan then have the actual confrontation happen in the first episode of next season.
Yup
That's been an obvious certainty since episode 2

Who do y'all think the "little bird" is that negan mentioned
Whom told him that rick is up to no good?
Whom told him that rick is up to no good?

He is a bipolar bitch. The weakest of all the characters. To be honest it would not disappoint me at all if he died in the upcoming conflict. One minute he is balls to the wall ready to take on the Governor and when people die he sulks and gives up violence and the lead. Next he is balls to the wall again against the Saviors but a few die and he is willing as Negan put it. "In case you haven't caught on, I just slipped my dick down your throat and you thanked me for it."
Damn man. It makes him weak because he doesn't want to sacrifice his own people?
You are definitely Negan.

Again, Gregory. The lesbian queen doesn't quite work out chronologically, and Eugene doesn't know anything for sure.

They better pull off a ridiculous final episode next week or I may pull out.
I'm sure they will miss you...

Rick is probably the least interesting for me of all the main characters.
I know everyone is entitled to their opinion but if Rick is a boring character you should probably not watch this show. He and Negan are definitely the best characters on the show. The interaction between them is the greatest and yet we only get small glimpses of it.

Gregory wouldn't have had time it seems.

I think the mole is the crazy woman at the landfill

After Negan makes that comment to Sasha, it cuts to Gregory in his office, angry drinking.
Maybe the others are right and it's Latonya (sp?) or Dwight. In the previews for next week, Dwight is seen standing next to Negan outside of Alexandria, so maybe it's him. I guess we'll find out.

Wouldn't it be something if that just another group of the Saviors?

If they were, they wouldn't need guns. But, her being the mole is definitely a well-known fan theory. There's an article in HuffPo about it.

I believe in one scene a few season's ago Rick admitted that Judith was NOT his.
Correct. I don't know if he is just speculating or if he truly legit knows, but he admits it there.
Better episode last night, which is expected now that the season is wrapping up. Still not great though, and it was one chock full of stupidity.
I love how Negan kills people loyal to him at the drop of a fricking hat, but Sasha runs in guns blazing and not only is she not dead but he is inviting her to join?
I saw it mentioned, but wanted to reiterate that using the explosives to scare the chick group into giving their guns away was overly stupid. You could've taken the main one hostage, or tried to negotiate, etc. Sending Tara in to point guns at people isn't exactly negotiating. Or hell, you could've likely just stolen the guns and nobody would've known shite.
And I love how Rick convinced people to work with him in about 15 seconds. That was odd. No bargaining, no explaining, nothing like that. Just literally spoke for a few seconds and people were like "We should join them and fight.." Keep in mind how many times they tried to kill Tara the first time, for a lot less.
Giving them weapons and turning your backs on them seemed like a stupid idea as well. Maybe that was to gain trust? And then they are blasting machine gun rounds left and right to kill like 30 walkers, when there are about 30+ people standing there. Sure, a lot were kids, but we saw that one girl kill a walker like it was NBD. Just stupid to waste all that ammo. I know I bitch about it a lot, but it is ridiculous how careless they are about blowing through ammo like it's water.
Michonne, nice sniper post being wide arse in the open in that tree. Also, someone should really show her how to hold a rifle. It's hilarious.
Gregory and Maggie are talking and hear a zombie like 50 yards away. Cool. Then magically, as usual, one literally grabs Gregory and nobody had any idea it was right there. Magical silent zombie ninjas are such a huge issue in this universe, clearly.
Couple times in the thread I saw someone say that the writing for Eugene is amazing or whatever. I can't disagree with that any more. It's awful. It's hard to follow along with and keep up with too. But it's basically just trying to sound smarter than he really is. We know Eugene is actually smart with certain things, and actually has a solid intellect. There is no need to church it up with shite that just makes him hard to understand.
And I was glad to see people bitching about the audio with he and Sasha...I had to rewind and eventually put subtitles on to understand what the hell they were saying.
Best part about this episode is that they bounced back and forth a little bit between storylines. That was a nice change of pace.
I really hope this show delivers next week and doesn't just build everything up and then nothing happens. I know that is sort of the formula for this show, but I am hoping they are learning from their mistakes. People will watch, sure, but it seems like you would want to put out a good product regardless. And building up all of this imaginary tension (I say imaginary because it's so spread out that you sort of forget why the tension is there in the first place, and that is on top of them trying to create tension out of thin air, like several times last week) with zero payoff may alienate some of the fans of the show. As much as I hate the "awesome opener, bullshite middle episodes, awesome closer" formula this show seems to have fallen into, it at least delivers solid finales usually. So I am hoping next week is amazing to make up for the crap season this has been.

Maybe they wouldn't need the guns, but Rick busting his arse to get guns only to then turn them over to a satellite Savior group would be frickin' hilarious.
Negan would be just the type to tell the garbage group leader to play along with Rick, just to frick with him.
