Yeah from what the doctor was saying it was a full unit sent to evacuate the whole building. Even if a few have died they have to still have 10 or more still kicking. And they're fortified.

I didn't mind the story but hell, I just hate the way they abandon story lines for weeks. They didn't need to devote a whole episode to this. I'd rather know what's happening elsewhere as well. Next week will be nothing but the group heading to Washington. Bummer again. Just like last season.

I'm still trying to figure out that last scene. Was Beth going to kill the doctor? What he did really didn't seem all that bad compared to other stuff we have seen on the show. He is in survival mode too.

This season was going great until tonight . . . the story just seems out of sorts with the show - and had many stretches.
So, the cops all have access to clean, shiny police uniforms? And they all had plenty of hair gel to get the "slicked back" look? And just how many guinea pigs do they have to eat on there at the hospital? How many bullets were in Beth's gun - seemed never-ending. And cops are humane enough to save people they find on the street, but not enough to put up with rape?
I thought it was one of the worst episodes I've ever seen.

Exactly - this too. The whole pace of the show, and the uneven storytelling just made it weird to watch. It didn't quite work.

After a suspiciously awesome start to the season, we get the first FU of the season. An hour of retarded tropes like rapey prison guards and other tired bullshite dedicated to a character no one cares about and wasn't missing.

I think she was going to kill the doctor and maybe attempt to take everyone out one by one. Kill the doctor, let him turn, let him attack other people. IDK.
I think the fact that he tricked her into killing the other doctor pissed her off and made her think that she can't trust him.

Is the general consensus here that this episode was an abortion?

This ep was awful.
Even if it is setting up Carol faking to be brought in and she takes the place down with her bottle rockets, it still wasn't worth an hour.

It was only bad because the first three episodes had so much action. It was a "building" episode. It happens.

Gorman mentioned that she wasn't a "team player", so I assumed that he tried to rape her, she fought back, so he killed her.

On a re-watch, I guess this is what happened because she wrote "frick you" with some scissors on the floor - which is pretty impressive if you are bleeding out - which looks like that is how she died - there was blood flowing from her arm. We know she wanted to die. I dunno. Bad setup.
And Beth is just roaming around the office and misses the body the first time around. The cop doesn't see it either. And Beth also just happens to grab the right elevator key in the drawer - out of 7-8 keys.
