Why do these singers tackle songs for which they have zero hope of overpowering the original artist? "Open Arms" was OK but it suffered when I remembered how amazingly strong Steve Perry was.

My friends basically had the same response you did. I was met with a lot of gtfo, diaf and a lot of people questioning my eyesight

One of Jermaine's biggest strengths is his stage presence, he works the stage and commands attention. And he belches out his inflections and such, so a soft ballad where he's standing there stationary isn't really up his alley. I just don't think it was a good decision for him.
Katrina is definitely good. She's coming on strong, started slow but the last 3 weeks has been awesome.

Christina is a full on bitch. She has been every episode. I heard something today about the boy band "the wanted" called her out for being a super bitch and how she thinks she is hotter than J lo but not even close. It was pretty hilarious.
