Seriously. NO Jedi had ever pulled that off before. That's pretty bad arse.

Luke’s final scene was better than I could have ever imagined, and I read the spoilers. I was not optimistic heading into this one after reading spoilers and I ended up loving it. I’m pumped for Episode 9.

Just saw it. Movie was great, although some of the hype around snoke is done and like died. He died in a fitting way.

He did... In the most jedi way possible. And He went out on his own terms.

Feel exactly the same
Almost felt like it could have ended the trilogy

Yeah those saying Luke didn’t kick arse are dead wrong. That was badass way to go out to say the least. Imagine if you had seen the prequels first and then see obi wan go the way he went. Luke’s is way cooler.

Not a bitch, saw it, hate it. Oh, Luke is so bad arse, he force projected. He stayed on Ach To like a little bitch and faded off into the force. I’m glad you like it, I still side with Luke himself and fundamentally disagree with the direction Rian took the character.

Just got out and it was complete garbage. Disney killed the franchise for me and I didn't think that was possible after Lucas.

Captain Phasma and Snoke were wastes of characters. Glad they died. This movie made episode 9 very simple: Rey vs. Kylo, resistance fool power vs. first order. Going to be a good one.

Loved Looper so my expectations were probably waaaaaaaay too high. It had some nice stuff in there but yeah it was a disappointment.

I think that was just to hammer home that the rebellion isn’t dead. The poor, the damned, the mistreated will always be there to heed the call for justice. It kind of brings home to roost what Yoda said- failure is the best teaching tool. Finn and Rose ultimately failed, but they showed those stable kids that there is hope. There is always hope.

The kid might not be anything particular, but I think the point is clear about how the Rebellion is sparked in the down trodden, and that heroes can come from anywhere, not just one destined family.

Just got out of the 7pm showing...

Still processing things but overall I think its a disappointment if u compare it to the other movies. Probably better than the 1st 2 prequels, not better than the 3rd.

For starters it dragged on, Snoke dying was cool....but again, they wasted his character. So many dead ends. Star wars casino was cool, and I liked Benecio Del Toro's character. Luke shouldn't have died in this one though. Next one....sure....but THAT pissed me off...just a huge wtf are they doing???? At the same time they literally had to twist his arm to come back before he agreed. Maybe it's what he wanted as well as Ford?

Now the next one is set to a bunch of new age characters nobody can really identify with.

And the porgs....ok they were kind of funny I guess. Especially when Chewbacca was gonna eat one of them lol

Some of the shots in the movie were flat out bad. One that jumps to mind was when they were on the cliff, when Luke screams Rey and they cut to him it was clearly a reshoot insert. Took me out of the movie.

Overall too much cgi, way way way too many cutesy animals doing cutsey things. Humor was often flat and inappropriate for the scenes. Yoda looked and sounded weird.

I didn't need Luke to have a Vader Rogue One scene but did not like what they did with the character at all pretty much from start to finish. For as much as they did with Rey she was kind of a 5th wheel at times.

The scene where Leia forced pulled herself back to the ship not only looked like shite but shattered my suspension of disbelief. She should have been dead right there.

Oh hey we're infiltrating Snoke's ship so we can escape and save everybody's life, let's not worry about bb8 blending in at and feel free to crack jokes the whole time.

I thought they really were going to have Finn sacrifice himself which i thought would have been a really ballsy thing to do but of course rose saves him in the most cartoonish way possible at the last second. Annoying.

Just a lot of frustrating things. Liked Driver's performance, Poe/Rose/BDT's story was better than expected.

And am I taking crazy pills or did they just flat out start callling the resistance the rebels halfway through the movie?? Lots of silly shite like that in the movie that made no sense.
