Was still holding out hope that the spoilers were fake and just trying to get fans riled up. What a heap of dogshit this movie is, all the anticipation of who Snoke is and who Rey's parents are for nothing. frick

My only hope is that the Rey thing can get switched around as Kylo trying to draw her to the dark with a lie. It is the only way the Skywalkers, and this dump of a film can be redeemed in any way.

I can tell you the exact theaters they saw the film in and probably produce pictures of ticket stubs if need be, however ridiculous that may seem. Especially considering it’s to prove my word to someone who’s a fan of a school with cum chugging yell leaders.
I’m just as upset as the next guy. Rian Johnson cannot be a true fan of SW to write a film that portrays Luke, and cast aside the Skywalkers, as he did.
I still can’t believe this trash screen play was green lit. Hopefully JJ was brought back to fix what Colin wouldn’t; however unlikely that may seem.

I saw it and the synopsis is true. We are going into the third installment with both Kyle and Rey receiving zero training and are apparently the strongest ever.

I agree except for Kylo. He did train with Luke and had an apprenticeship with Snoke for some time.

yea except this movie picks up where the last one left off. snoke says they will finish Kylo's training, but that never happens. he just treats Kylo like shite the whole movie up until he is filleted

Pretty much. Supposedly the events of TLJ begin immediately after the events of TFA. Essentially Kylo goes from losing a duel to someone who had never even held a saber before to the most powerful dark force user alive within like a week.

This trilogy or just Star Wars in general needs more than one villain. Kylo as the main bad guy for Ep 9 just doesn’t cut it. You had the potential to make Snoke this badass villain with an interesting back story and you just kill him off half way through the movie? This is up there with killing off Maul so soon. frick frick frick

We'll probably never get that. However, since Lucas personally approved all the Star Wars novels you can get an idea of where he was going. Beats the ever-living crap out of this POS.
