Even in biblical times people were scared of the big black guy

I know it was a little while ago, but the story of Joshua and Jericho is really cool. Joshua had some pretty good stories I wish they could have added in, but I understand why they didn't.

What stories did I miss so far? Just gonna keep watching until the Walking Dead starts
Some parts of the first one were kinda cheesy and cheap, but I liked the first one. I just wish they didn't skip straight from Abraham to Moses. Would have like to have seen some of the stories with Isaac, Jacob, Joseph, etc.

What a gold digger, guess some things never change

Yeah that's what it seems like. I guess its hard to fit the whole Bible into 5 episodes.
Either way it seems like they could have covered some more of the story between Abraham and Moses. Though I'm looking forward to the New Testament

I'm pretty sure it's 10 weeks of 2 hour episodes.

Is it? I thought there was only 5 or 6 parts?

Goliath should have been played by dikembe mutumbo

Too bad Andre the Giant isn't still around. If ever there was an acting role perfect for him, it is Goliath.

Ok serious question...I'm not a biblical scholar by any means..which is to say I dont know a thing. how much of this is interpretation and how much is some what accurate according to the bible? I know a lot is being omiitted but how much freedom are they taking? (not a flame)

Sampson part was pretty disappointing. For as long as they dragged it out they skipped the good stuff like tying the torches to the foxes tales and Sampson giving Delahia Bogus reasons for his strength the first couple times she asked / which she tried to use against him and he STILL didn't get the clue.

I was raised in the church, but Im not 100% on all the stories. Some of the stories have been dramatized for effect a little bit, but most of the core concepts are there.
I would encourage you to read for yourself, even if just for the historical value if not for religious reasons.
