Chewie didn’t get his own medal. He got Han’s medal that Leia was holding as she died.

Yea there has been healing abilities in the star wars lore, just not something in the movies, which is why generally you should separate movies/shows and books & video games.

Force heal has been in tons of video games. It has never been in any movie.

They put it in The Mandalorian to justify it in this movie.

Thank you, there is a Gump and a Buckeye in the other thread saying different. I always said Auburn was a much better school than Bama.

Did anyone else find it laughable that Luke tried to murder his own nephew in his sleep because there was too much Vader in him, but some girl he has no relationship to, is perfectly fine to train even though she is a Palpatine, can somehow do force lightning without being on the dark side, and clearly has a strong connection to Kylo?

Yea I found that to be oddly peculiar. These movies seemed to contradict each other (thanks Disney for no coherent storyline writeup beforehand).

Technically this is wrong. The first use of force healing in the current cannon was in the Uprising mobile game. I just totally out nerded you.

There is no Lucas cut. I’ve been following Reddit spoilers daily from day one and that was never said.

There was a leak about Lando looking for his lost daughter and the girl on Endor's moon being his lost daughter. That wasn't in the film.

Yea they should've taken a couple minutes to explain that bc that scene between them at the end was offsetting

Those are facts but that has nothing to do with Lucas.

At least Rey being a Palpatine justifies her overpowerness somewhat. Maybe just makes it more reasonable.

No it doesn't. Her lineage was never an issue of her being powerful or not. It was the complete lack of any training whatsoever, and still being able to do things that the most skilled Jedi and Sith struggle to do.

I mean the force lightning thing was so absolutely absurd. That is an ability that has always been reserved for those truly overcome by the dark side. Nobody can just do that because they are related to somebody else.

Ok yes I’m not saying she should be powerful just because of lineage but at least it’s better than no lineage AND no training

Force healing is one thing. Force resurrection is another.

Very true as well.

Revival Fest 2019 was very lame.

The shite you guys bitch about.

If the first 3 were released now you’d turn up your noses like slobs at those too

Wait, you thought her blowing up a ship with force lightning wasn't absurd?

It is Star Wars though. The problem with fans today is that they have nitpick and have an explanation for every single thing. This scene didn’t even have much effect on the plot. I think the reason it was there was to hint that Rey is a palpatine.
