Nice. How so?
There is a scene where Rey goes back to the isolated island from TLJ and she was going to isolate herself like Luke did and Luke's force ghost appears and tells her how he was wrong to run away and hide

So after Rey nearly kills Kylo and feels Leia pass, she heads to Ach-to to basically do what Luke did. She burns Kylo’s tie fighter that she arrived in and tosses her lightsaber (formerly Luke’s) into the flames.
Luke appears as a Force Ghost catching it and walking out and says “That’s no way for a Jedi to treat their weapon”.

Solo was trash dude. Don’t defend it. It’s a Frankenstein’s Monster of a movie.

I'm trying to figure out the best way to describe it- perhaps if they made a "007" movie, but 007 is no longer James Bond. It's a chick instead, and we learn that Bond is a retired alcoholic bum living in a nursing home or on the streets, after selling top-secret info to both the USSR and Spectre. And the new 007 is busy exposing all the naughty things the US and GB did in the Cold War, which makes them look awful.
This is perfect for TLJ. Absolutely perfect. (Haven’t seen ROS yet).

Audience score at 88%

This is one of the most illogical movies I've seen.
It was rushed, the pacing was horrible, and there was zero emotion and zero consequence.
Worse than TLJ, and if it's not the worst Star Wars movie then it's easily near the bottom.

I agree on the first two, but not the last two.
I also felt the humor was better this time around. They definitely tried it more than they should have, but I’d say a little over half of it hit, whereas none of it did in TLJ.
The first and third acts are definitely the ones they reshot and patched together multiple times. The middle 40 minutes from heading to Pasana until Rey leaves from the Death Star wreckage is the least hacked up part of the movie and is probably the best section of the movie.
I’m a little torn on my favorite moment between Kylo wrecking shop Vader style in the beginning, the aforementioned Luke Meta Callout, or my boy Sheev channeling his inner Stormbreaker Thor.
For whatever reason, I really liked the little dude who worked on C3PO, must have been the Marlin Brandoesque voice they gave him.

Just saw it... packed theatre. I really enjoyed it! 3PO is back finally. Chewy is back finally. It was 10x better than TLJ. Half the audience was clapping at the end. Went in with very low expectations and came away entertained. Still hate Finn character but he had fewer fail scenes. Went with my 4 kids who are older and huge Star Wars fans and they liked it too. If you’re a fan of Star Wars you should go. Not perfect but no movies are nowadays.

Let's not forget one little fact...The First Order is still out there. Untouched. In tact.
Everyone is celebrating at the end when the entire military power that they've been fighting for the past two films is still out there spread throughout the galaxy.
This film is mindless and completely nonsensical.

Adam Driver deserved better from this trilogy.

I liked it. Only problem I have with it is that Kylo died. At least we got to see him turn good first.

The First Order merged with the Final Order bruh. They had that little chat before Kylo used his granddaddy’s moves to shut that one dude down.
Speaking of that scene, it’s about damn time Disney put some diversity in Star Wars..... on the First Order side.
The fight choreography was the best of this trilogy. The music was great in some parts but bland and basic in others.
There is a lot I can rip this movie to shreds over, particularly minor things, but if anyone tells you it’s worse than TLJ/AOTC, they are lying to you. If I had to rank the episodes I’d go
Empire
TNH
Return
TFA
Revenge
Rise
TPM
AOTC
TLJ
Throw Rogue One beside Return and Solo beside TLJ.

What happened to the megathread?
Legend has it that Chicken hates megathreads. Maybe that's what happened to it.

It doesn’t matter anymore except for box office updates.

It's just as bad. Worse in many ways.
And it destroys the legacy of Star Wars and the OT more than TLJ ever did.
