Watched it last night... Very Meh IMO. I'll finish the season out because I've watched this long, but quickly losing interest.
Don't think they said... Just think she picked him because he was a loner
btw, that scene pissed me the frick off... Like Jax wouldn't take the gag out of his mouth to hear what he had to say

I was wondering the same thing. Any other situation he would've done that. Plus, doesn't Jax know that Gemma really isn't a credible source.

when she was chatting with him, he mentioned he had no wife or kids....so in gemma's warped mind, she rationalized that he wouldn't be as missed as someone with a family.

if sutter really had the balls to go for the shock angle, he would've killed her off in that episode, or at least in the next episode or two. her death would be deserved & be nowhere near as gratuitous as countless others who died. in hindsight, agent stahl was a princess compared to gemma
who would've thought, after watching the first couple of episodes of season 1, that wendy would eventually be the most level-headed one of them all?

maybe, but the retaliation angle is yet another "lather, rinse, and repeat" situation we've seen so many other times, so i'm not expecting to be too "shocked" if/when it happens....

I could see that scenario - everyone dies and Gemma is the only one left.
It was an okay episode. So they kill the Asian with zero care about a war that will break out and they kill those 3 people during the gangbang. No questions. Jax seems like an idiot at times. Shoot first, shoot again, ask questions.

I am getting a little frustrated as well at Sutters writing. How stupid is Jax? How many times has Gemma burned him and yet he takes her word for it without ANY fact checking whatsoever. I'm beginning to thing the big shocker at the end is that Jax and Gemma have been a "couple" since he was old enough to walk and that is why he can't see past her crap.

Am I the only person who was bothered by how nonchalantly they tied up the Jax/prison time angle? He was the one who was supposed to be turning himself in at the end of season 6 for supplying the gun in the school shooting and was facing like 25 years.
Does Tara getting killed all of a sudden just wipe that whole gun case against SoA clean? The way I understood Tuesday's episode was that Jax was being held for suspicion of killing the sheriff and they let him go because his gun didn't match/hadn't been fired.
Are they planning to address the other charges, or are we just supposed to forget about that and move on?

SFP had a good thread on completely suspending all reality when watching this show.... The in an out of jail and the fact that they are felons, yet able to carry firearms.
Its so far out there, but you're not supposed to care because its a popcorn flick type show.

What was a fairly entertaining show has turned into a complete piece of crap. Jax believes the Chinese are behind Tara's death but he never once thinks to question the guy he has in custody about the deed. That entire scene made absolutely no sense.

Jax doesn't care about anything at this moment. He is full of hatred and I think we'll see him kill someone in each episode.
