The special effects for this one were a little lacking compared to Loki and WandaVision

Watched it while we put up our Christmas decorations. I thought the cameo by President Harris was a bit much, but hey, it's a new America.

Ok episode, but the sex scene with Ms. Marvel and Mephesto was super cringe

I think it ties back to those government bureaucrats who were most likely Hydra (or some other evil cabal embedded in the US government). In the scene where they are discussing covert programs to create powered people to exploit, in the background there is that large screen with a map of the world. One of the locations indicated with a red dot appears to be in Pakistan.
Switch back to the scene of Kamala talking about gaining powers and a new appendage, she mentions she got them while visiting family in Pakistan. Specifically, it was shortly after she took part in a gender equality seminar.
So, my theory is that from here it's going to be about Kamala and her struggles with identity. On one hand, she has to keep her real identity secret from the evil government goons while out playing hero. On the other, she has to keep her new chick-with-dick identity from her family, in fear that her father would kill her for shaming the family honor.
Or maybe it won't matter much and it's just Disney checking boxes to virtue signal for the twitter crowd.
