They are not great players at all, in fact they are objectively bad. Dee would be gone but for the DPOV. They have no alliances outside of those three because they don't play social games. Drew and Barrett are misted by their celeb status, but that's worn off on Barrett and he's about to start their downfall.
Getting out Kamu and Mallory back to back weeks when both wanted to work with them is objectively bad. Getting out Barrett's #1 and then prioritizing Haley over him is objectively bad. Volunteering to go on the block at this stage is objectively bad.

If Devens is on the block he is going home and it will be glorious. I expect the blockbuster to be "rhyme a word with Rick" though so that doesn't happen.

This. I don’t dislike D&D at all but I don’t like that new HGs blindly fall in line with “celeb” guest.
Paul’s second season was the worst example and unbearable for this exact reason.

It would be the worse move for Drew and Barrett to do that....
They are more likely to run a bad game and get to jury quicker if they dont continue to latch on to the Crossover Alliance.. they should ride that out and a double evict is likely coming and that is when you need to take that shot, don't take it when the other side of the house is extremely weak.
Barrett and Drew are basically choosing between:
Dee/Devens or Melody/Yash...
it's easy, hide behind those bigger targets since that is who you chose to ride with, don't go with unproven players that are just grasping for air in this game...
Barrett and Drew both have great cases for winning this game if they keep their position and get to the point where one of them mount one of the Survivor Players... that's going to be a great resume. Barrett has not truly won anything yet, but Drew is in a great spot.

Dee won Survivor and did well on the Challenge. I would consider her an icon.
Devens was memorable on his seasons, not iconic.
Angela is an attention whore/production plant who has been on multiple other shows, including Let's Make A Deal, The Price is Right, and Dr. Phil. She's a waste of oxygen.

Perfect example of why the Icons are bad at this game. They can't spot the clear Barrett flip, and have no connections outside of their 3 plus lapdog Drew that are alerting them to the campaigning he did to evict Drew last week had he not won blockbuster.
