If that's the cast, I think it's a pretty damn solid bunch.

I wouldn't count on it. I have seen at least a dozen different lists. Nobody knows for sure.

Because all the top finishers were willing to come back? You don't think many turned down an offer?

There have been plenty of players who finished really high who had terrible game play. And there have been plenty who have had great play, but got booted early. I think this is a nice mix. Throw in the race situation, which got a few people on, and it is what it is. I'm not complaining about it one bit, but I understand people will complain no matter what. Overall (if that's the real class) I'm excited about it.

Wait.... I though it was Caleb who was obsessed with Amber...?

He definitely was but she wasn’t into him at all. I think she liked Cody and thought maybe they even hooked up a bit.

I think Caleb ended up getting pissed at her which is why she went out pretty early.

Could be misremembering that though

The only real issue I'd have with that cast is that Paul has Christmas and Josh as loyal to the bone subjects, and Nicole F & Da'vonne as people who will work with him. I was ok when it was Paulie instead of Christmas because Paulie wouldn't be at Paul's beacon call like Christmas will. And I have a feeling Josh will want to work with Kaycee and Tyler since he has the Challenge connection with Kaycee (and Tyler and Kaycee are ride or die). If Tyler ends up aligning with Paul, I'm going to be PISSED.

But I still doubt that is the true cast. I think we'll know for sure on Monday.

No question that would be far too stacked of a cast in his favor. Such bullshite

I don't get the hate for Paul. He isn't one of my favorite players at all, but when he returned he did exactly as he should have done. The cast allowed him to control them, and he did just that. It made for a not so great season, but that isn't his fault. There's zero chance that he just runs shite, if this is the cast. And if he somehow manages to do it, then kudos to him. CBS isn't going to stack the deck in his favor with a cast of vets.

I see Paul having a few loyal soldiers as a disadvantage. Some of the people in that group are too good to allow it and it will make him an easy target early on.

I don't hate him because he capitalized on the advantages he was given. I dislike him (I don't really hate a whole lot of people) because of the bullying that he spearheaded that season. I mean, I'm not usually one that gets bent out of shape by most "bullying" that you sometimes see on BB, but that season was so bad I quite watching when the house (all Paul's lackeys) were cussing Cody and Jessica out in the backyard. Paul made their lives miserable.

100% this.

It was despicable behavior that CBS had no business allowing. Paul had relationships with members in production that not only gave him an absurd advantage when he would have been gone in the first two weeks, but then tacitly condoned his assaults on Cody, Jessica, and Mark.

He acted like he was some kind of godfather of the game after being handed those advantages by friends in production and despite being part of the worst alliance in history in his first season and basically just being the last rat left alive that everyone disregarded as a threat allowing him to sneak to the final.

He isn’t funny or entertaining and tries to take over every conversation with basic dime store psychology that impresses nothing but idiots like Josh and Christmas and the fact that those two specifically are back in the house with him is just a sign to me that his allies in production are trying their best to ensure he sticks around as long as possible yet again.

I hope it doesn’t work but when a guy his five or six built in allies before even stepping into the house that’s a tough task to expect anyone to go after him any time soon.

It sucks but it is what it is.

Tyler and Kaycee are both friends with Josh. I set up some stuff for his bday party out here in September and Kaycee, Tyler and Angela were all on the list. Paul was nowhere to be seen.

Does Julie give an apology to the guy that won last year to start season?

About his "white privilege' and racist comments.

Just give a minority the first place prize and show Gilligan reruns, Oh that right Gillian is racist no black folks on it.

You should feel bad about being the way you are. You probably don't, but you should.

Christmas was willing to lose the game for Paul at several points. She took a crazy crush on him and convinced herself that she was in love. She was drugged up most of that season after she broke her foot and spent much of that time up Paul's arse with Josh.

If those three are in the house together, no way do they not end up on the same page, likely day one.

I was over the moon excited when the rumors first came out about cast and dan and derrick were mentioned. Then dan fell off but I thought we still had derrick, now I see derrick isn't on either. That's really irritating, I despise Paul but was salivating at him going up against some actual heavyweights that woudl run circles around his game. Who are the best in there now? Tyler of course but we don't know about hsi game as a solo player. Ian was good but he basically was a hangeron to the big boys til the end then came out on top. Janelle is an all star but it's been ages since she's played and will be one of the oldest in there. People like danielle and kaysar were before my watching started so idk about them, but again they're going to be in the old group and olds generally don't last long.

Hayden and Enzo will be damn tough in the house if they can create alliances early and avoid being targeted. Brigade has to be a top three alliance in the game and they both deserve a spot and are worthy of being on. Hayden will be a target early though - everyone in that house will know that he has a win and that he was on Survivor.

Danielle isn't a great player, imo. Her dad and production carrier her the first time around. The second time, her dad left early and she played the role of bully and came across as an awful player. Maybe she'll be better now that she's older and has a family.

Now there are rumors that paul got his feels hurt by the twitter mob and quit before it started.

From @themiserablebob replying to dick

Apparently Paul rage quit the cast because twitter got under his skin so much. Everyone is pretty much saying he is out.

Yeah I just wanted to clarify that when I said I liked Danielle and thought she was a good addition I meant Danielle Reyes.

Was surprised she was coming back since it’s been so long and she wasn’t exactly young the first time way back on Season 3.

I do like her though and hope she falls in with a good crew.

I could see her meshing with people like Janelle, Ian, Cody, Enzo, Kayser, Kaycee, Tyler, Hayden, and maybe Nicole as their secret weapon that could infiltrate Paul’s Posse as an outcast.

Come to think of it that could be a damn good group to take on Paul. While he has more built in allies, there seems to be more “good guys” than “bad guys” that would go with Paul.

All Star Worthy:
Paul (like him or hate him)
Cody
Kaycee
Tyler
Daniele
Nicole (if you win, I think you deserve to be in)
Josh (think he’s an undeserving winner, but you win youre in like I said)
Hayden
Enzo
Janelle
Danielle
Ian

Not worthy:
Christmas
Nicole
Amber
Bayliegh
Kaysar (more deserving than the others in this group but he just hasn’t done anything. At least he actually plays the game)
Da’vonne (don’t remember much about her actual skills.)

To me, 12 deserving players out of 18 is a lot more solid than I expected. I’m actually excited about this season if this is the cast.
