I agree. JMac, James & Meg all trying to align with the Austwins was the single dumbest move I've seen in a while on BB. I mean, they all knew the Austwins had a history of working with Vanessa and Steve. And they knew that they were as solid of a threesome as anyone can get in the game. Why in the hell would you think that you could work with them? Like you, I like them, but damn they are horrible at strategy.

No kidding. The Austwins are almost unbearable to watch, especially when the twins get together alone and start trashing everyone. Those whiny arse voices are hard to listen to.

Vanessa is the only one in the house that is actually trying to use a little bit of strategy in this game. But even she let the house get to the point to where everyone wanted to backdoor her. If she hadn't won the veto this past week, she most likely would've gone home at the hands of her own alliance. But I will say that she did capitalize on her veto opportunity, and got back into everyone's good graces (including JMac who went from being her worst enemy (even though she didn't know it), to now wanting to work with her.) She has actually made more decent game moves than anyone else this season, but that isn't saying much considering the rest of the house has less game than Steve does with women.
The only thing I'm hoping for this week is to see Vanessa go on one of her patented paranoia trips, and starts flipping out about everyone. She should feel pretty good with this HOH since she is going to gun after the Goblins, and has everyone else on her side. But this is Vanessa we are talking about, so hopefully paranoia will set in by Monday.

Yep. For how she presents herself, you wouldnt think she would be such a baby all the time whenever things arent going her way. I think the only 2 deserving people in the house are her and James. As much as it pains me to say it, Vanessa is probably the most deserving to win compared to the rest.
As for Meg, is it a requirement every year to find the most pathetic competitor imaginable and let them float to final 5? Who wouldnt want to bring her to the final 2 at this rate.

let's speculate the future. let's say van is successful in getting james out this week. the house will realign and be austwins vs. jmac/steve/van with meg doing her own thing.
I see meg going to final 2 in this scenario. the sides will take each other out and everyone knows they will beat meg in final 2 unless she goes on a comp killing spree.

I just can't see them allowing Meg to stay. This week James, next week meg. Then the trios duke it out.
I REALLLY hate the situation but it's the one we're dealt with right now. Hopefully James can win Veto and then they smarten up and convince Van to go after Austwins.

The season will be right under Season 9 on the list of worst seasons ever if James goes home.

James comes off and I'm betting JMAC goes up. Would be best for Meg to go as she can't win a damn comp. If James and JMac were able to win back to back comps and take out 2 of the Austwins, the season could be salvaged. Seriously doubt it happens though.

It will be interesting to see who Vanessa puts up if James or Meg (who am I kidding with Meg) wins the veto. She has already told JMac that she won't put him up because she knows he will go home over a goblin, and she needs him to go after the Austwins since she can't (or won't). I would hope that she realizes that she has to keep someone in the game to take a shot at them. Plus if she puts up the goblins, and neither go home, then she will have to deal with them coming after her next week. So she will need for one of them to go home if she puts them up.

Here is my speculation:
I think that Vanessa will be playing both sides of the Austwins and the Rockstars, but being more loyal to the Austwins. I think that both of those two groups will try and pull Meg in with them. If she's smart she will go with the Rockstars, but she isn't so she will probably go with the Austwins or try and play both sides.
Now let's say JMac wins HOH. I think he is most likely to take a shot at the Austwins. He would probably put up Liz & Austin, with Julia being the replacement if one of them wins HOH. Let's say that noms stay the same, then I think that Vanessa & Steve will definitely want to keep Austin, while Julia will definitely want to keep Liz. I have no idea who Meg would want to keep, but I have a feeling she would go with the majority and vote out Liz.
Let's say that this is where the second DE happens, and let's say that Steve wins the DE. He is rushed to make a quick decision, and pusses out again and nominates Meg and Julia. Austin and Vanessa vote to keep Julia, and Meg goes since JMac's vote won't matter.
So now Austin and Julia will move to solidify their final 2 with Vanessa individually. Vanessa will definitely stick with them at that point since she will have a final 2 with both of them. Steve will then have to choose between JMac, or to try to continue to cling to the Freaks & Geeks. He would have to know at that point that he has to go with JMac, but he's also going to try and stay close with Vanessa. So Vanessa now becomes a less of a target for them because she worked more closely with Steve & JMac in the past weeks.
So let's say that either Vanessa wins the next HOH, or Austin does. Either way, JMac is going home with the final four being Vanessa, Austin, Julia, & Steve. At that point Vanessa has assured herself at final 2 since she will have a final two with everyone at that point, and probably has solidified herself as winner of the game.
But let's say that JMac were to win the final 5 HOH. Then I think he puts up Austin and Julia, with Vanessa being the replacement (it won't matter because Steve will vote for Vanessa, and JMac will then tie-break it with a vote to keep Vanessa). So now we have a final 4 of Vanessa/Austin versus Steve/JMac, and it is anyone's guess as to which duo will win.

For someone as book smart is she is, it blows my mind that she wants to align with a ROCK SOLID 3 man alliance that has absolutely no chance of imploding. Those 3 are as tight as you can get, alliance wise, in that none of them are going to turn on another one until it's time that someone HAS to. Surely she realizes she's the odd man out in that group.
I get that she (and anyone really) wants security at this point, and she has security with that group, but it seems like her only chance at winning/making final 2 would be to align with the other side of the house and pick off the austwins.

I don't think she plans on the Austwins making through unscathed. Statistically I think she is banking on someone taking one of them since the odds are not good for all 4 to make it to the final 4. Preferably for her it would be Liz going so that she could be both Julia's & Austin's final 2.
