That hoh challenge was boring and not tv friendly. Not compelling in the least. It ate up 15 minutes of air time too which could have been spent on something more exciting.

I started watching this season after the tranny got voted out and I thought this had the makings of being a great season due to the cast. Now, the only ones I still like are James and the hated Vanessa. Hopefully Becky comes back. Big Brother is best when the power switches each week to the other side.

So this is the first season of big brother I've ever watched and I'm hooked. I'm sure this has been discussed before since I'm late to the game. I don't follow the live feeds and only watch the aired episodes. I can't stand when they do the live vote, and the person leaving the house is in a dress and full make up...and the person staying in the house is dressed in tennis shoes and head bands, etc. It's pretty obvious they know who is going home ahead of the live eviction and who is dressed to play in HOH competition. It ruins the live vote process when I already know who is being sent home by the clothes that they are wearing. Have they always done this?

It doesn't happen every week at all imo. Jmac was sure he wasn't going home due to his new alliance plus he just doesn't give a shite. Everyone, whether on the block or not, usually dress up for the live tv show.

My wife was the first one to notice weeks ago and I noticed this last eviction with Becky and J Mac. I just went back and looked at some pictures though and you are right, I don't think its noticeable every week.

I've been watching BB for years, and more times than not, the person going home knows they're going home. Blindsides still happen at least a few times each season, but for the most part the one going home knows they are going home, so they dress for their sit down with Julie.
It often depends on the HOH competition that follows though, too. If it's an endurance or a more physical competition, they'll tell them how they need to dress. There are times someone is voted out in tennis shoes and a t-shirt or something.

There are usually at least some smart people on this show. Everyone left at this point, and really all season, have been dumb as bricks. Sans Vanessa.
